FIELD DAY EMERGENCY CARE

posted May 5, 2017, 7:05 AM by Hiromi Takahashi

We will have two first aid locations during Field Day because kindergarten classes will be held as usual in the C-Building. The First Aid Room for kindergarten children will be at the usual first aid room (C-121). First Aid Tent will be at the West Soccer Field and will have two Emergency Medical Technicians.

Please make sure your child is in good physical condition to attend the Field Day.

We will announce children’s names through speakers at the West Soccer Field to contact parents, if it is necessary. If your child’s name is announced, please come to the First Aid Tent.

If you have a child in kindergarten and plan to be at the Field Day, please notify your child’s homeroom teacher in the morning. We will look for you in the West Soccer Field if your child in the kindergarten program comes to the First Aid Room (C-121).

If your child needs emergency care, we will try to contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you, we will conduct the necessary emergency medical care on your child in accordance with the “Agreement and Indemnification” you submitted to the school office, including taking your child to the hospital.

If your child needs sun block and/or medication, please bring them from home for your child.

Please take precautions to prevent heat exhaustion and heat stroke. (e.g. wear loose-fitting; lightweight, light-colored clothing; bring water bottle, cap, wet towel and ice pack)
