Progress Report “AYUMI”

As autumn deepened, the leaves changed from autumn leaves to fallen leaves and from cool to cold. I would like to thank all the parents and guardians for their continued support.

Two months have passed in the second term, and this Saturday is the last day of the first half of our school year. The school building was closed from the end of March 2020, and we have been offering remote learning since. Although it was an initiative we had never experienced, we gradually got it on track. In the second term, we are on our way to achieving our instructional goals almost as planned. Once again, we would like to thank all the parents and guardians for their support and encouragement.

Ayumi are usually sent home at the end of the first half of the school year; however, as a result of discussions with faculty and staff on this matter, we decided not to issue Ayumi for the first half of this school year because we do not have adequate materials to evaluate each child due to the implementation of distant learning. We appreciate your understanding very much.

We are planning to issue Ayumi in some form at the end of the school year, and discussions are being held among faculty and staff. We look forward to your continued guidance and support.

Principal Tadahiko Sugiyama
