Special Measures Regarding Tuition Reimbursement After Withdrawing

With the State of Massachusetts declaring school closures for the remainder of the MA school year, the Japanese Language School will also be closing off access to the Medford campus for the entire 1st semester and will expand efforts for distance learning and online classes.

Given the extenuating circumstances for this semester, the School has decided to extend the deadline for submitting Withdrawal Forms and adjust the policies for tuition reimbursement as follows : 

Deadline: For those who sent withdrawal requests by May 19 (Tuesday) 3:00 pm

 tuition reimbursements will be made based on the prorated calculations described below #2.  Please inform the School Office by this deadline as we will not make any reimbursements for late submissions.

Reimbursement: The tuition reimbursement amount will be determined based on

 prorated calculation.  There are twelve (12) school days for the 1st semester.  Reimbursements will be calculated from the first school day of April 11 to the date that the Withdrawal Form was submitted.  For example, if the withdrawal is made on May 16, the unconsumed tuition amount from May 23 will be returned.  

For those who have already withdrawn prior to this policy change, the School Office will be contacting you shortly.
